Privacy

Copy Room HQ runs copy-center and bookstore kiosks for schools. Each school's data belongs to that school and is kept separate from every other school.

What we store

Job tickets and bookstore sales (teacher name, department, items, amounts, notes, and any files a teacher attaches to a job), the school's teacher and department lists, its rates and products, and its settings. We do not collect student records or payment card details.

Google Sheets and Drive

A school can connect its own Google account so reports can be sent to Google Sheets. Each school has its own connection, stored against that school. The app can create spreadsheets for that school and add rows only to spreadsheets already saved for that school. It does not open every spreadsheet the Google account can see, and one school cannot send a report into another school's spreadsheet. Google sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest. Copy Room HQ's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from Google is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared outside the school's own account. A school can disconnect its Google account at any time in School settings, which revokes the app's access.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share school data. It is processed by our hosting and database providers (Google Cloud and Supabase) solely to run the service, and email notifications are sent through our email provider.

Deleting data

A school can ask us to export or delete its data at any time. Write to us through the contact page.
